I'm a digital designer and freelance artist based in Vancouver.
My personal work explores the intersection of tech, capitalism, satire, and surreal narratives. I also enjoy creating work that tackles unconscious bias, empowers underprivileged and marginalized voices, and for plant-based advocacy.
Currently, I'm most interested in working with digital interface designs, illustrations for tech (websites/apps), editorial/magazines, books, as well as wall/mural/environmental art.
I also teach and code.
Let's work together!
I grew up in Hong Kong among third culture kids in an international school with a plan to pursue Math and Environmental Science and save the world, then ended up at liberal arts college Carleton College where I lived in an intentional commune and fell in love with painting and coding. Since then, I've also lived in Minneapolis, been heavily involved with digital and arts organizations and projects, as well as teaching and freelancing.
In my spare time, I can be found longboarding (my role model), working in coffee shops, meeting strangers, and obsessing over hobbies.
